Our BlogPaws Book Signing

Hello and Happy Friday! When we did our BlogPaws Round Up post yesterday, we told you that Mommy did a book signing with the Cat Writer's Association.  I had planned on posting a lot of pictures from the event, but the photos Mommy took didn't come out very well.  She had a few on her cell phone, but they didn't come out very well, either. (Summer's human gave Mommy a few tips to change the settings on her camera, so hopefully that will help her.)

Anyhoo, Mommy did signings on Thursday and Friday. And guess who she sat next to? Can you guess? OK, never mind, I'll just tell you; Summer and her human!

There was a break between sessions, and Summer came back with a wardrobe change. Doesn't she look adorable? She was giving people high fives and shaking paws. Mommy said she was the purrect table companion.

Mommy also sat next to Miss Deb of Zee and Zoey and made a new friend, Lisa Powell, who is the author of the CatSkill Trilogy. She and Miss Lisa have a lot in common (besides cats! MOL)

The event photographer took photos of the authors - here's Mommy! I, for one, am glad she got a new photo because she has blonde hair in the photo on the back of our book, and as you can see, she does not have blonde hair anymore!

Now here's the exciting part! We decided to donate 100% of our profits to Catopia Feline Rescue of AZ, and we are going to donate $55 to them! That makes us very happy.

It was a successful signing, and I can't wait for her to do another one so we can help more rescues.

  1. I think my two favorite parts of BlogPaws were the Cat Style Lounge, and sitting at the Cat Writers table! I really enjoyed sharing it with you, even though I didn't really have any books to sell (maybe someday, but for now I'll just help with Sparkle's books and copies of Rescued). That is awesome about donating profits from you book sales to a local rescue group - paws up!
