Flashback Friday - Window Love

Hello, and Happy Friday! I have a Flashback for today's post. This goes back to March of 2011.  Mommy used to love to watch me in the window because she said I looked like I was in my glory and that I was seeing some things for the first time.

I loved being able to watch the outside world while being toasty warm inside.

It was so interesting watching the world from up high.

Sometimes I would catch Mommy watching me.

Oh hi, Mommy!

The window is still one of my favorite places.

I have such a baby face in these pictures! I hope you enjoyed my Flashback today.

What's your kitty's favorite place?

  2. Looking out windows is the best! So much to see and the pawfect way to keep an eye on those pesky squirrles and birds

  3. Cute pictures!! My cat Calypso was a feral when I found her so her favourite place for many years was under the bed!! Others really enjoyed sitting out the window and watching the world go by, and the funniest was when they would see a bird and make that squeeking sound.

  6. Kitty was my bird-watcher. She was pretty hard core. Bear likes to sit in the window - but that's really just for the sun :) Lola, the more we get to know you, the more we love you!

  7. You just have the sweetest little face, Lola! Mudpie loves her view of our backyard, but it looks very different from your view!

  11. My furballs love the sliding door to the old deck. The squirrels, chipmunks and birds outside the window are fascinating.

  16. Looks like you had a great place to watch the world! My cat loved looking out the French door in my dining room and out the window in the foyer.

  17. I too enjoy watching the cats watch out the window! They see things that I don't...or cannot...but their ears twitch, and whiskers move, and they get all excited! It's fun!

  19. Mr. N loves any soft surface. He can't see out of our windows but he enjoys hanging out on the couch at friends' houses and keeping track of squirrels through the window.

  20. What wonderful memories and how awesome that she has that window to watch the world go by, I am sure it makes life more interesting for her. Great photos

  21. Gosh, I love looking out of all the windows-- to the tune that mommy can't put the blinds all the way down AT all. I tear them up if she tried. So everyone gets to look in on mom and me at night I guess.

  22. You looked as though you were having the most fun just people watching!

  23. These photos are so cute! I love the one of her catching you in the act of spying on her, LOL! Her face is so sweet. My cat Maggie used to love looking out the window too.

  24. We love sitting and looking out the windows too! In fact, mom Paula leaves the blinds open about 12 inches from the bottom with our large windows so we can see outside all the time.

  25. My cat Nala used to love lying up by the window with the sun pouring in on her looking out. Kilo the Pug is like the neighbourhood watch and likes snoozing on the back of the couch by the window with a view of the street. He shouts at the mailman and any dogs or strangers going by.

  27. We love this flashback, sweet Lola. Ava loves being in the window, too! Gracie loves anyplace with a sunpuddle. Or anyplace with mom and dad. :)

  28. Lola, you had quite the perch there and just the right purr-spective to see most of the goings on in your territory. Nothing will get past you. Your mom and dad are safe and purr-tected. Good kitty. Purr purr purr.

  30. Lola, this is my favorite pastime too. Sitting at the windows and snoopervising the neighborhood (and the landscaper, and the guys picking up the gargage, and the mail person and the raccoons and squirrels in the woods and..well, you get the idea).
