Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Goldie Lox and the 3 Fares is Just Right! #ChewyInfluencer

Hello, everyone. This is Lexy checking in with our monthly Chewy Influencer review. I think you'll like the product I chose to review for you this month. It seems we're always looking for the perfect food around here. Well, Lola is, anyway. She eats food for a while and then decides she doesn't like it. I, on the other hand, have a broader palate. When our Chewy.com email came, I decided to try out the Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Goldie Lox and the 3 Fares Variety.

I insisted on being the one to inspect the incoming package. After all, Lola did pull a fast one on me last month.

This month it was back to normal, and I'm happy to announce the product arrived as ordered.

Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Goldie Lox and the 3 Fares

First of all, can we discuss the name? Goldie Lox and the 3 Fares? How cute and creative is this? As you may have guessed, the star flavor is Goldie Lox. The three fares are The Double Dip, Funk in the Trunk, and Chicken Frick a Zee. How can you not want to try this out with flavors like these?

These are gourmet cat food flavors at their best. I'll describe each one:

  • Goldie Lox - chicken and salmon recipe  Au Jus
  • Funk in the Trunk - chicken recipe in pumpkin consume
  • Chicken Frick a Zee - chicken recipe  Au Jus
  • The Double Dip - chicken and beef recipe Au Jus
Delectable! I couldn't wait to dive right in.

You'll have to excuse my poor manners of eating straight from the can on set. Mother tried to distract me, but it wasn't happening.

All of these recipes are high in protein and low in carbs. That's purrfect if you're trying to help your kitty lose a few ounces. I've lost over a pound, and this food will help me keep it off.

Let's look at some of the key benefits:

  • Like I said above, it's high in protein and low in carbs.
  • It's grain free! It also is free from gluten, potatoes, GMO ingredients, MSG, and carrageenan.
  • It's a great choice for cats with allergies.
  • It contains real, deboned meat in a mouthwatering gravy. Even picky eaters will have a hard time turning their noses up at it.
  • Provides and balanced diet since it contains taurine and added vitamins and minerals.

You can purchase a case of Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Goldie Lox and the 3 Fares at Chewy.com for $44.99. (A case contains 24 !-ounce cans.)  If you choose the autoship option you can save 6% and pay $42.74. This case would probably last Lola and me 20 - 24 days, depending on how hungry we were.  As always, shipping is free for orders of $49 and more, and Chewy’s customer service is terrific.

You may be noticing that Lola is missing from this review today.

She decided to pull the diva card and refused to cooperate. This is all we got out of her.

She did eat some later on. After Mother put the camera away, of course.

Which flavor do you think your cat would enjoy? My favorite so far is the Funk in the Trunk, and Lola enjoys the Chicken Frick a Zee.

Stay tuned to the blog, because we have some photo fails from this review and photo shoot that we'll be sharing!

  3. Dang, those look great except for the chicken, Sister Zoe is allergic to chicken and chicken products. That really limits the yum here.

  4. I believe that Weruva has a good reputation. Our kitties are enamored with pate-style food; otherwise, they just lick the broth/gravy.

  5. We love Weruva! And they’re making more and more pate style foods...the kind we like!
