ökocause4paws Litter Donation Program

Hello, and Happy Wednesday! It's been some time since I've taken over the blog from Mommy, and I've got something fab to share with you today!

We're helping our friends at ökocat support adoption by spreading the word about their ökocause4paws Litter Donation Program.

ökocause4paws is donating over 4,000 pounds of their natural cat litter to shelters and cat adopters in four eco-friendly cities across the United States! In late August, shelters will be selected in the top four cities with the most votes. Each shelter will receive a donation of 1,200 pounds of ökocat litter and all of the shelter's cat adopters throughout 2019 will receive free ökocat cat litter.

In 2018, ökocat donated litter to the following shelters:

  • Animal Aid (Portland, OR)
  • Rocky Mountain Feline (Denver, CO)
  • Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue (San Francisco, CA)
  • PAWS (Seattle, WA)

We bet that litter really helped them out!  This year four more shelters in eco-friendly cities across the U.S. will each receive a donation of over 1,000 pounds of ökocat litter late this summer or early fall. But that's not all! All cat adopters at selected shelters will go home with a coupon for a free box of ökocat litter through the end of 2019. How cool is that?

Everyone who participates will receive a $3 off coupon for ökocat litter and they are also entered to win a 12-month supply of ökocat litter and also the weekly 1 box of litter giveaways announced via Facebook throughout the program.

There is more than one way to enter. In addition to casting your vote, you can enter a photo contest, enter “secret codes,” and more as seen on the form here: https://www.healthy-pet.com/okocat/okocause

I bet you're wondering where you can get a secret code from. Well, I have one! MOL Our secret code is LOLA

The goals of this program are to:

  • Give back to the cat community by supporting cat adoption at local shelters and donating litter to adopters.
  • Generate a greater awareness around the ökocat brand and its natural cat litter solutions for environmentally conscious cat owners.
  • Serve as a resource to educate and promote the importance of feline rescue and adoption nationally.
Sounds good to us!

So head on over to https://www.healthy-pet.com/okocat/okocause to cast your vote for your favorite eco-friendly city AND enter to win a 12-month supply of litter. Don't forget to enter the secret code LOLA for additional entries! It ends August 6, 2019 so you still have plenty of time!

We love companies who support adoption and help shelters! How cool would it be if one of our readers won?

What's your favorite eco-friendly city? And who's your favorite shelter?

We didn't receive any compensation in exchange for this post. We're just letting people know about a fab contest that helps shelter kitties!

  1. I would love to see Detroit, Michigan (my nearest large city) be on the list. The city is working very hard to clean things up and become a thriving city again. It sounds like Okocat has a great program! It's awesome that they are donating all of that litter.
