Dining Al fresco

Hello and Happy Monday! Those of you who have know me for a while now from Facebook know how much I used to love eating my breakfast in the kitchen window.  I stopped doing that for a while. Why? Well, mainly I wanted to drive Mommy crazy. See, I'm a picky eater and she is always worried about what I'm eating (or not eating.) So for a while I made her follow me around the house until I picked the purrfect place to eat and she would put my bowl down for me.  (And she's a behavioral psychologist!  Hmmff.. I wrapped her right around my paw.  I hope she does better with the people she works with!)

Anyhoo... I decided to start eating my breakfast al fresco again. I have to admit, I missed the view and watching the birdies, and the breeze is just lovely in the morning.

This Fancy Feast is really good this morning.
What's that?!
Look at that bird go!
OK, back to Fancy Feast

Do you kitties always eat in the same spot, or do you like a change of scenery from time to time?

  2. We always eat in the kitchen, and not too close together - otherwise, it just encourages food stealing!

  3. Fancy feast is a good thing and so is a nice window. And you know what is also nice - CATNIP! We are hosting a kitty ONLY giveway this week on the blog. Hope you will stop by!

  4. Rudy and Mickey eat in the same place, safely away from their big German Shepherd brother. Although they do get lots of treats where ever they happen to be hanging out.

  5. Nothing like window whiffies to perk up an appetite. When the cat were getting older, we stopped feeding then in the kitchen and now feed in the bedroom but Merlin is fed outdoors, on the porch, in bed, on the sofa, wherever he wants since he's in decline.

  10. That's a great spot, Lola! I like the you have your mom wrapped around your paw. I'm intrigued by eating al fresco. I like to eat in the bedroom best, but normally, we both eat breakfast in the kitchen. In the evening, the big guy is in the kitchen and I just can't eat with him in there. It makes me too nervous. Pierrot, on the other paw, doesn't care at all.

  11. Glad you are back to your usual spot. My kitties all have certain spots and don't like change.

  12. that is too precious!! Even with your Mom being as brilliant as she evidently is, you have her wrapped around your paw! Cody just eats in the kitchen, don't want him seeing this and getting any ideas!

  13. We pretty much all have our places; though, sometimes the humans have to hunt for Fiona. Lily and Astrid eat on the counter right where Mom dishes up the food. Calista Jo, Mauricio and Lisbeth eat right at Mom's feet. Giulietta and Fiona eat in the foyer. Misty May either eats there or on the island or a different countertop than Astrid and Lily Olivia. That dining al fresco looks pretty good. Maybe we can get Mom to feed us on the catio. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  14. we generally subscribe to the 'if you don't eat what you are fed you don't eat' philosophy that I grew up with... although *knock wood* we don't have any cats that need to dine alfresco
