KONG Cat Wobbler Treat Dispenser Review #ChewyInfluencer

Hello everyone! This is Lexy checking in with our monthly #ChewyInfluencer review.  Now, before I begin, I must tell you that Mother chose our review item this month. She should have left the choice in my paws, but you know how it is… sometimes we kitties have to let the humans feel like they’re in charge.

This month Mother chose the KONG Cat Wobble Treat Dispenser.

She thought it would be fun for us to try because the Wobbler provides valuable mental and physical stimulation and entertainment all at the same time.  It can also be used as a mealtime feeder to slow down a cat who eats too quickly, thus helping to combat obesity  by encouraging cats to work for their food. (Oh, Mother, I hope there isn’t an underlying message here that I need to lose weight.)

Food goes on the bottom compartment, then the top gets screwed on. There’s a fuzzy little catnip tail to entice your cat into playing.

As the cat plays and the dispenser wobbles, food falls out of the hole.

Lola couldn’t quite figure it out. But then again, she will never work for food.  She’d just rather not eat.

It was a little too much work for me.  Maybe if it were a little lighter and there was more than one hole I may have given it another chance.  Mother left it out when she went to work to see if either of us would play with it, but we didn’t.

Overall, the Wobbler got good reviews on Chewy and Amazon. The fact that it's very durable, easy to fill and very easy to clean probably has a lot to do with that.  But it was just not a hit here at the White house.  I was disappointed, because I look forward to the arrival of our monthly Chewy product.  Next time I’ll make sure to open the email before Mother does and make my own choice!

You can order a KONG Cat Wobbler Treat Dispenser at Chewy.com at their current sale price of  $7.36.  That's 33% off of their list price.  And don't forget, i you select their autoship feature you'll  save an additional 5%.  As always, all orders over $49 ship for free. Are you shopping for your kitty’s needs at Chewy? Well, you should be! They have very quick shipping, their customer service is fantastic, and you won’t find a better box anywhere.

Will your cats work for treats?

  1. Binga would be beating on that thing until every last piece of food came out! She is persistent.

  2. I would most likely eat that black fuzzy thing and leave the treats for my sisters!

  3. Your way of eating from it without the cover looks like more fun :) We have one of those and the cats like it. Nice review.

  7. Both kitties here are very food focused but neither understands how to make these work. We've had two different ones. Of course, I'm a chump because I take pity on them and give them the treats anyway.

Lola and Lexy, you girls look darling as ever!

  8. Too bad it didn't work out for you! We don't like to work terribly hard in this house either - though we do like to eat.

  9. I almost asked to review one of these two, but have been a bit busy for that. I think Roadside would absolutely love it because he is just crazy about food. Callie has tried some things like this, but she's not a huge fan.

  10. Great review, Lexy. I think my Sophie would do her darnest to get into that little contraption. The other two would probably side with you.

  11. Good job with your review, Lexy. We have a few kitties at the shelter who would use brute force to open that thing. :)
