Seflie Sunday - Never Turn Down an Opportunity for a Selfie.

Hello, everyone.  This is Lexy checking in with a selfie for Sunday. I was not planning on doing a selfie from my cat tree this week, but a girl has to make the best out of a situation. And I think I did!

I was sitting here minding my own business, engaged in bird watching, when Mother starts her business with the camera. Now, I know I'm photogenic, but sometimes a girl just likes to relax and not worry if her fur is combed.

As you can see, I wasn't all that thrilled.

I decided to make the best of it, though, and pose for a selfie. (I tried to change my facial expression a bit.)

Then I realized our new curtains really make a nice back drop, so I decided to go for a super close up selfie.

I'm glad I did because I love the way it came out.  I learned a lesson today; your plans may get interrupted, but you never know what positive thing can come from it. Happy Sunday!

  11. Gasp! That is a gorgeous selfie of you. i just LOVE it. You and I look quite a bit alike. You are very beautiful. Thanks for visiting my blog. I haven't been very good at blogging or reading lately. M's back has been giving her fits, therefore, sitting in her office chair doesn't work well anymore. We're trying to improve because we enjoy everyone else's blogs so very much. (Typist said she really made a mess of that last sentence - said she needs to go back to school. he he )
