Throwback Thursday - My not so Secret Hiding Place!

Hello, and Happy Thursday! Not long ago Mommy wrote a post that included some older photos of us. Our friends, Momma Kat and Her Bear Cat told us how much they loved one of the photos. Well, guess what? I was sitting on Mommy's lap last night while we were looking through some old files on the computer, and we found a little surprise! We thought Momma Kat and Bear would love to see them.

Let me set the scene. When I first moved here, I didn't like when Lexy chased me, so I used to hide in the wall unit. This is usually how it went...

Lexy will never find me here.

Lexy: She must be around here somewhere.
Lola: If I'm really quiet she'll go away.

Lexy: There you are, Lola! I was looking all over for you!
Lola: I'm not Lola. You must have me confused with another cat.

Wow! This was so long ago! I can't fit in that hiding spot anymore because I'm too big. It was a fun spot while it lasted.

We hope you enjoyed a peek at our past.
Lola

  6. It's odd that Lola wants you to carry her around but she doesn't care to snuggle with Lexy. When I first started reading Lola, you talked a lot about how she didn't want to touch Lexy so I assumed she was one of those cats who prefer to keep their distance (and I assumed Lola was the cat you'd had the longest who just didn't warm up to the "new" kid). Then you talked about Lola following you around and wanting to be cuddled. Obviously, you're her Mommy. It feels really good, doesn't it?

  7. I love that middle picture. Lola, I bet it felt good while it lasted to be able to hide from Lexy.
