Your Cat Will Love Being Groomed With HandsOn Gloves

I have two cats, but with all the fur dust bunnies on my hardwood floors (and furniture), you may think four or five live here. I can never understand how that much fur can come off of two short haired cats! One way to keep on top of the hair situation is to be sure I groom the girls regularly.

Lola and Lexy are fairly easy to groom. I have to follow Lexy around the apartment a bit, but as long as I'm using a brush she likes she's okay with it. Lola likes a different brush, of course, so I often have to switch off or only groom one of them at a time. Thanks to the HandsOn Glove I can give both girls a good brushing while petting them.

What Are HandsOn Gloves?

HandsOn Gloves are revolutionary grooming gloves that make bathing and deshedding your pet as easy as petting them. They can be used wet or dry, and the scrubbing nodules help shampoo get to the hard to reach undercoat.

HandsOn Gloves are very comfortable and flexible, and won't slip off of your hands. They are held securely in place with a velcro tab that you can adjust to your comfort level.

The flexibility gives you better dexterity so you can get to those sometimes "hard to reach" places, like their belly, head, and all the way to the tip of their tail.

The Massage Therapist in me loves how the textured nodules gently massage the coat and skin which not only improves blood flow and circulation but also promotes healthy skin and coat by increasing the distribution of natural oils.

Key Benefits

The HandsOn Gloves have many key benefits, and here are just a few:
  • Can be used wet or dry and will not slip off of your hands.
  • Accumulated hair releases easily. Hair shakes free with a flick of the wrist.
  • The "tender touch" nodules are on the fingers and palm, allowing for superior contact.
  • Your hands and fingernails stay clean.
  • LIghtweight and durable.
  • HandsOn® gloves won’t tear, mildew or crack.
  • Enhances the bond between you and your cat by encouraging regular grooming.
  • Hair ingestion is decreased with more frequent grooming.
  • The gloves tactile touch gently cleans sensitive areas like legs, faces, ears and tight body contours.
  • Promotes relaxation.
  • Not just for cats! These gloves can be used with just about any furry friend including dogs and horses, too!

HandsOn Gloves Put to the Test

Now it was time to put the HandsOn Gloves to the test. The video below says it best.

It was a little difficult shooting video while grooming Lola, but we made it work. Did you hear Lola purring? She absolutely loved being petted with the HandsOn Gloves. As you can see, the hair came off of her very easily, and I was able to get her tail, too. Quite a bit of hair came off with just a few passes.

Now my question was "is it easy to get the hair off of the gloves?" See for yourself.

The hair came right off. (And if you listen carefully, you can hear Lola still purring in the background.)

The Final Verdict

The girls and I loved the HandsOn Gloves! Even though Lexy was a little camera shy this time around (astonishing, I know!), she did get a good brushing with them and was purring away. Here are a few of my favorite things about the HandsOn Gloves:

  • They are very easy to use.
  • They are comfortable for the girls and don't poke their skin or pull on their hair.
  • The hair comes off easily.
  • They are very comfortable to wear and I like the velcro strap.

  8. Those look great. I use a furminator on the long-haired cats, but this would be good on the short haired.

  9. I love that last picture of Lola! And your video of brushing Lola was awesome! I brush my cats every other day with the Furminator. I think it's a bit too rough for Bear though. I've been looking for an alternative.
