Working From Home With Cats - Part 7

Hello, and Happy Friday! It's been a while since we've posted in our "Working From Home With Cats" series, but I'm here with part seven today! I'm going to pick up where we left off in July. (Don't forget to click on the photos to see the post on Instagram.)

Mommy wanted to know why Lexy always insists on sitting on the laptop. Now everyone knows!

Apparently, I missed the memo that we were off this day!

Mommy thought we were sleeping on the job, but we were taking a siesta. It's a good thing I was able to explain it to her!

Mommy had no idea that Lexy was in touch with her boss!

Lexy and I enjoyed our first siesta so much that we decided to take another one.

Are you working from home with cats? Tell us about it in the comments.

  1. My human worked at home long before the pandemic! So it's kind of the usual thing here. I wish she would get all that stuff off her desk so I'd have a place to sit!

  2. You ladies better keep an eye on that laptop. My Momma's disappeared and I haven't had a warm place to sleep since! ~Bear Cat

  4. Hey, if a real lap isn't available a laptop works just fine!

  5. Come back in a few hours if you want to work on the laptop and bring something to eat with you!

  6. We're officially retired but busier than ever at home, so we do work with cats! And Lola, I can see you are really helpful with the work at home! Very similar to our working experience with kitties!

  7. This series is so much fun! What do you think Lexy and your boss meow about?

  8. You are such good helpers. I wish my cats would boot up the laptop before I get to it. XO

  9. Cool pics!

My mum's desk is in our bedroom so I'm always on the bed supervising, but mostly napping! When she's very busy I like to remind her that her priority is me so I get onto her lap and start purring.

  10. My mom doesn't use a laptop any longer...she got tired of battery probs and over heating..so you know laptops for her were some time ago. Surely they have improved. (she started up with a desk top again about 2010). But she's glued to the phone as well. She wants a laptop like the one that one of my other brothers has...a MAC one, but of MY! $$$$! But if she gets one again...I will see to it that it is mine. As with everything else in the house.

  11. Looks like I've lucked out, because Sweetie doesn't jump up onto my desk! I will NOT show her this post...hehehe...

  12. Ah! The joys of Home Working with Cats! Yes, my 3 have "joined" zoom meetings, and it is particularly fun when they walk across the keyboard when I leave my desk for a few minutes. My favorite has to be the climbing of the sliding door screens, the yelling for the door to be opened and the chasing of bugs across the papers on the desk!
I was ever so happy when I retired last Month.
But YES! I would do it again!
    Ciao

  13. Great job, Lola and Lexy. We have to snoopervise our humans while they are working at home. I make sure my dad takes the requisite breaks, so I visit his work area throughout the day to make sure he gives me some pets and snuggles. XO - Ava

  14. The kittens try to help me work, but little paws indiscriminately pressing keys can be disastrous.

  15. Thanks for a very interesting blog. What else may I get that kind of info written in such a perfect approach? I’ve a undertaking that I am simply now operating on, and I have been at the look out for such info. Best Kitten supplies
