My Humans Respect My Space

Not long ago on a Sunday Mommy was straightening up the house before she went to work.  When she went in the bedroom, this is what she found:

Will had just finished working nights, and his time clock was all messed up, so he went back to bed.  But that's not my point.  See how I'm snoozing on my own purrsonal pillow up on top and he didn't make me move? That's my point.  That's my sleeping spot, and he respected that.  As a matter of fact, I slept there all night.  Well, it's my spot! I sleep there every night so I can protect Mommy. I always have to be right next to her.

Lexy decided to join us:

There was plenty of room since Mommy wasn't in the bed. If Lexy decides to sleep on the bed at night she usually sleeps on the bottom and ends up getting kicked.  She should be like me and demand her own space! Don't you agree?

Do your humans respect your space?

  1. There have been times I have dozed off with the lights on because I could not get up to turn off the lights without disturbing the cat. Now I have put a hockey stick next to the bed so I can reach the switch if I am in the right position.

  3. That's exactly how it should be! My human has no problem with moving us if it inconveniences her! Can you believe how thoughtless she is?

  7. You're lucky your mom respects your space. Our mom usually does, 'cept when she's sleeping and she accidently kicks us when we're sleeping on the end of the bed.

  8. Lexy, I like the edge of the bed too. The very rare times I sleep closer to the lady, she's so happy that she doesn't move. Lola, I'm glad you have your special spot and nobody makes you move.

  12. Got to admit to not liking that top of the bed on account of peep snoring. I get the better other top end which happens to just where my laptop is, keeps me warm as well. purrs

  13. Oh you both look so cute!!! I think The Staff would love it if I slept on her pillow, but I don't generally go anywhere near as I do get swatted or kicked - accidentally, of course!!! ;)

  14. Mudpie prefers sleeping in her own kitty beds so we don't have a bed issue...yet! But kudos to your humans for respecting your space!

  16. Oh absolutely! Our human looks like a pretzel when she sleeps and that's just how it's supposed to be. A cat needs to be comfortable, you know... Purrs from Deb and the Zee/Zoey gang
